Journal Club: Early Intervention Focus

This innovative continuing education program is designed to help physical therapists working in early intervention settings implement evidence into practice.  Current clinical research in pediatric physical therapy will be reviewed in detail and used as a model to translate new knowledge into clinician behavior change.  The course is divided into four separate sessions and includes ongoing supported clinical implementation of course information. Participants will learn strategies to gather, analyze, and apply knowledge relevant to clinical practice needs, along with specific recommendations for translation of this knowledge into daily clinical practice. All sessions will be interactive and include case based discussions on successes and challenges related to knowledge-to-action. In order to enhance and support learning, participants will be expected to complete readings and assignments in between sessions.
